| | Only one session available. Registration is limited! (session will fill quickly - register today) | Wednesday, June 13th, 4-6 p.m. (pst) (see start time for your time zone below) | $29.95 | | | As an artist, you are essentially a small business owner and face many of the same financial issues confronted by other business owners. While you may wish you could focus solely on your creative work, as you become more successful you will inevitably need to wrangle with your finances and set your fiscal course. Planning for your future can seem overwhelming, leading many artists to avoid the issue altogether. Instead of relying on blind luck, we invite you to take charge of your financial future by joining us for an online workshop with independent financial adviser E. Larson Gunness. This concise online workshop will revolutionize the way you see your finances and empower you to make smart moves with your money down the road. An artist himself, Gunness offers a unique perspective for artists, blending his artistic and financially based career paths and experiences. Having earned an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College (this in addition to his degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT), Gunness understands the creative mind and shares his insights in a manner easily digested by the right-brain. If you've ever puzzled over how to manage your debt and savings or wondered how much you should save and where you should invest, then you need to participate in this webinar! The webinar is fully interactive and you'll be able to listen to Mr. Gunness while asking personal questions about your own finances and art career. A PDF of the presentation will be available to download after the workshop. | | E. Larson Gunness is a creative entrepreneur who lives in Barrington, RI, with his wife and two children. Gunness brings together the two halves of his brain by blending his creative practice and professional skills in the field of personal finance. He has 14 years of experience working in the financial sector (with Smith Barney, Fidelity Investments, and at the helm of his own firm for the past 6 years). He received his education at MIT Sloan and Kenyon College, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Economics. Gunness has also developed a creative practice as a musician, writer, and visual artist, and he has earned an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. "Artists listen to me," says Gunness, "because I am one of them." Gunness recently published a book on financial literacy for artists entitled Peace, Love, and Financial Planning; An Illustrated Guide to Money. The book is a collaboration between Larson and several other artists and business professionals. | | During this workshop you will learn: - Debt - how it works for and against you
