The piece is installed in the courtyard outside Xanadu until it finds a permanent home in a private or public sculpture garden. Lorri also brought new smaller works that will warm your heart. Meet Lorri at Art Walk Thursday, November 1 from 7-9 p.m. |  |  |  | |  | Xanadu kicks off the beautiful month of November with a special visit from two of our great sculptors, Tammy Bality and Lorri Acott. Tammy will be in the gallery exhibiting her amazing lead crystal equine sculptures on November 1 during Art Walk from 7-9 p.m. |  | November 8th is Scottsdale's "Western Art Walk," and as usual, you can expect the unexpected at Xanadu Gallery. That night, Xanadu will feature new "Western" works by collage artist Dave Newman, oil/mixed media paintings by John and Elli Milan, and new dramatic western landscapes by John Horejs. All four artists will be in the gallery from 7-9 p.m. to meet you and talk about their art. |  | On Saturday, November 10th from 10 until noon, John & Elli Milan and John Horejs will join 29 other nationally known artists on Main Street for the first annual "Fall for the Arts Quick Draw" event. Main Street will be blocked off, and the artists will complete a painting in two hours while you watch, after which the newly completed works will be auctioned on a stage near the Ed Mell sculpture.
Later that afternoon, Xanadu will feature a painting demonstration by abstract artist Josh Wiley. Come enjoy homemade cookies while you watch Josh create cool acrylic on steel artwork! | |
