De Kooning Discussion Xanadu's book club meeting for De Kooning | An American Master will be held this Tuesday, April 10th at 6:00 p.m. Pacific (6 AZ, 7 MDT, 8 CDT, 9 EDT). Even if you didn't read the book you can listen in on our discussion of this influential, enigmatic, difficult and brilliant artist. If you read the book, serving as a panelist will be easy - you'll simply have an open mic during the discussion so you can share your reaction and opinions about the book and the artist. We are pleased to announce that Jeffrey Meizlik. who worked as De Kooning's studio assistant from 1976-1977 will be joining the discussion as a panelist. Jeffrey will give us personal insight and perspective from the time he spent working with De Kooning.
